New IPOD coming out?

I heard that there were new IPOD versions coming out..

is that true? Can somone point out some details?

The rumour is that they will use their own audio format much like sony does for their minidisc. That's why I just bought my iPod, I don't want to mess what that crap.

That is a safe statement. There is something new coming out all the time, and based on their track record, there will be a new IPOD coming out sometime before 2004. There might even be 3 different types for each type of user!
