Zip 250 can read 100M disk as well. But the problem is you find usually the computer comes with Zip 100 and it can't read 250M disk! :|

Or, if you just want to go internal ata 100mb, get the one at overstock for $44.52 shipped after 10/50 coupon.
Color might be gray in case that matters--I'll know for sure tomorrow when mine arrives.

I believe this is white box (no cable, etc).

Anyone have one of the new USB Zip 100? I hate to say it but the 100 looks to be built on a sturdy frame, which the 250 is not. The Zip 250 is way cool to look at, but when I handled it I got the impression it wouldn't stand up to much abuse traveling, and it seemed a little flimsy. The new 100 looks tougher, anyone care to comment?

If you are planning on commiting Fraud Montanaman, that's your business, but don't post your intentions or results here, its a good way to get Banned.

Insert standard "Steers & Queers" joke in honor of Montana.

hehe, it's probably better that you keep that to yourself, and not mention that here. That's due to how some people would view your ethics/morals over here.

just my $0.02

ps(i know people who go in for exchanges all the time as well, but i just guess that it is better to keep that to yourself...)

Now I picked this up the day before after looking everywhere for this drive (Bestbuy were the only people with it and it was $99). I figured the thing would be less trouble to carry around than the old purple one. The thing is staples may show the picture of the new drive but the item number is the same as the old drive. I am worried they will be sending the old drive. Now if they do I guess I can print up the page and go to a B&M to complain. Anyone ordered this and got the new drive?

Staples are carrying the new style one for sure, since I got two.

It was free with purchase of Maxtor 40MB HD in Staples 2 weeks ago. I got two HD (one for $110 and the order for $130 after pm, one of the best deals in 2000), so I have 2 of this zip drive right now. I'm thinking how I can get rid of them.

I wanted to get a 250mb drive and a 10 pack of zip disks, but I'm not familiar with staples policy on coupons. Can I use 2 $30 off $100 coupons? Would I need to order them separately? Or is there a limit of 1 use per coupon? It seems like this would be much better than simply using the $40 off $200. Thanks for your help guys.

edit: Also, does the zip 250 come with a disk? On shop4digital's site, it says it does, but on staples site, it does not mention it. Is it possible this is not the same item?

How about this:

1. Pricematch to 79.77 @ onvia Link
2. Buy 2 drives @ staples Link
3. Total should be 159.54, ask for the free 5 inch portable TV, Cadbury cookie tin, and Logitech gamepad (coupon here)
4. Now apply 25 off 75, use 2 coupons. Total down to 109.54
5. Add some tax to that and you should get 2 USB ZIP drives, 1 5" TV, 1 Cadbury cookie tin, and a Logitech gamepad all for around $118.

Then just sell off the drive you don't want and keep the rest of the stuff.

It's been here more than a week already that you can't use more than 1 dollar-off coupon even you call staples csr (you definitely can't do it in staples.com)

what about the disk? Does anyone know if it includes a disk (I'm referring to the 250mb model)?
