New Intel GMA graphics?

The new i965 should have a graphics update.... I remember seeing GMA3000 or some such number.

There's been NO talk about it whatsoever, since more people are interested in the Conroe CPU rather than the chipset it's paired with.

The new GMA is supposed to be a big improvement (I'd like to see that) but is there anything more than speculation?

With all the people playing with early Conroes, you'd thinkg someone would comment on the GMA3000. [shrug]

Hey.... I got it.... it's GMA X3000. Lots of hits now. And it appears to be more than an "incremental increase".

Its an incremental improvement, mainly designed to run Aero Glass on Hardware. It may have a lot of features, but since it shares system memory, it probably wont be very fast. The GMA950 was GeForce3 class graphics (+DX9 features), and the GMA3000 maybe a low end GeForce4 (+DX9/10 features).
