Ok, just got this intel board via intel through the Retailedge promotion.
Everything was working well for around 1 day.
Now, when I power the machine on, the system pauses durring the POST.
It appears to happen right before the memory test.
I see DDR400MHZ --> operating in dual page mode
Then it pauses,
around 5 mins later
it shows the amount of ram in the system.
What I have tried:
Flashing Bios
Other sticks of Ram
Removing all AGP/PCI cards
Disconnecting all drives except the one containing my boot partition.
Fiddling with BIOS Settings.
However, it still does this odd pause thing.
It appears to work fine once you actually get to the OS. (I'm typing on it now)
but the excessive pause is very strange and annoying.
Does anyone have any clue what could be causing this, or possible resolutions?
