Already been posted in another thread. So were did all this 09h2 come into play is what I would like to know. The low end? So it really doesn't look to me like Intel is holding back Nehalem because of AMD. Why should they . It won't change the AMD lawsuite .Or will it prove that AMD just can't compete as far as Tech goes . When it comes to fabs . AMDs true reason for AMD64 high pricies and Market penatration was the lavk of Fabs . To say XP was better than P3 is a big stretch. How was the K6 foe performance K5 also . So AMD was suppose to build fabs with money it could have made off of XP. Not likely and easily proved . When was the last AMD intel court battle. 2004-2003 AMD can't go any further back than the last lawsuite. ALso please show me befor K8 the best Qt. AMD ever had.
Do you think AMD could have built a fab with those profits I don't . Neither would any reasonable person . AMD is Like a warewolf . THey try to be men but once a month like clock work they act like unthinking animals.
Seems outright fake, IMO. Bloomfield isn't a "mainstream" part! It's a server product which shouldn't appear on this roadmap at all; or at best, only in the "Extreme" category. LGA1160 parts would be listed in a mainstream roadmap.
Even if it's listed as mainstream it's still the LGA1366 and not the 1160(?), so it's not really the mainstream, but (as shown in the picture), the upper mainstream.
"Proper" mainstream will arguably be the 1160 which still doesn't seem to be coming all that soon.
