New install of UbuntuMate and having problems sharing a folder

So if I right click a folder to share over my home network under the properties there is no option to share the folder.

I have installed Samba through the terminal but don't see any Samba control panel as well.

Any help would be appreciated

Make sure you are the owner of the folder and that the share is defined in that /etc/samba/smb.conf thing and then restart it [sudo service smbd restart] i think...

I haven't really dabbled around with ubuntu mate yet, so apologies if I am overlooking some kind of distro-specific variance. Sadly, I spent quite a while trying to get a shared folder to work on a Windows network and I finally threw in the towel. By the time I wiped the drive the OS was so broken I could barely get it to boot.
