I emailed them about the monitor so if they have any more I will just pick it up since I am down the road - not about to "order" one though

I have a buddy that works here.

He sent me a list of things they had a few days ago. Here are some other items they currently have (or at least they did a week ago). The deal is they sell on consignment for larger chains like Best Buy and Circuit City.

NEC TFT LCD: LCD1700M+ $300
PS2 with 4 games: $250
Panasonic 34" HDTV w/ stand: $1000
Sony Camcorder DCR-TRV330: $300
Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-E20S: $400
Sony Digital Camra DSC-F707: $500
DSC-P50: $200

That makes no sense to me, that they would sell the stuff at half the normal selling price since they are brand new never opened. Maybe it's just me.

That's what I said...

Mainly, it's these big stores that order huge number of this stuff so that they get good deals. Well, say the product isn't exactly selling like they hoped. They dump about 1500 of the items to this place for a little less than what they paid. SON gets their money from selling quantity, mainly to resellers and private businesses. They make very small profit margins but their volume is so high. Meaning they may make only $50 on each monitor, but they are going to sell through their 15000 at this price in less than a month. Most items they get are for about 30 days if I'm not mistaken.

My buddy working there said it's legit. He's seen the items and sells them to people everyday. They test out a couple of the products when they get them in. He said they all have phat LCDs that they are taking their orders on.

I can't get more info. My buddy just sent me a list of their current items. It's listed as item #605 on the sheet he sent me.

I usually talk to the guy over the weekend. I'll try and get some info from him about it this weekend if it looks like you're still wanting it.

Oh, wait, I didn't put the item number down before...I guess that might help you out. CT34Wx50 is what the sheet says.

It's a business, I don't guess giving out their info would hurt anyone.

If it is a business, why PM phone number? Can't we just post it here.
It is 1-800-839-0916. BTY this is the number of SON and not the person who works there.
