Sorry, this stuff excites me. Anyone in the Tucson area, the new In and Out Burger opened today at Broadway and Alvernon. Everyone else, feel free to be jealous.

im a big fan of in n out too! they built one about a mile from my house in mesa, but i cant stand the smell of it when you drive by. its the worst smell in the world, only beat by the smell driving by the burger king a couple miles down. once you get inside the parking lot you cant smell it, but its the onions/ meat/ fries grease that you smell from the exhaust. nastay. food rocks tho.

im looking forward to a good in and out burger...havent had one in like 7 years now. Its just going to be so innundated for the time being so i dont know if i want to even drive down there.
And the saddest part is right next door used to be a krispy kreme - was closed down because of stupid management - but a man can only dream because they say one day it we be revived and then in one spot you could get your donuts + burger....*drool*

I believe it actually is IN the old Krispy Kreme. So far I'm hearing the opening day rush is unbelievable, but I still plan on going.

If nothing else, the new business in the area might cause someone to finally tear down/renovate the El Con Mall. Someone needs to do a "haunted malls of America" piece on the Travel Channel and lead with that creepy dump.

edit: Krispy Kreme, not Krispy Kreme Burger. Although I've heard those exist....

That is the legendary 100x100, 100 meat patties and 100 slices of cheese.

The weak link of the In & Out burger is the cheese - which I would be hard pressed to call cheese at all. No different than any other fast food joint.

I went today. Very yummy. The wait was only about 30 mins at 1 pm. They wouldn't let me order a 2x4 animal style thought. Bastards.

If that is the only one anywhere near you, don't think it will slow down any time soon. We had one a mile from where I use to live a while back, durning lunch and dinner any day of the week the drive through line would be sticking out of the parking lot. And that was after it had been open for 4 years. Your best bet is to go around 10:00am or 3:00pm. But it is worth it :p
