New iMacs & Mac Minis to use Nvidia chips

I think I may need a new Mac Mini come January

I would think that they would move the whole platform to nVidia due to the fact that their OpenCL works well with nvidia's offering.

yeah, this just follows what was done with laptops, expect new mini to be similar offering to new base macbooks, or a desktop replacement of it.

finally a cheap mac with decent graphics.

I just hope that the prices would come down a little. Would love a Mac mini again.

I love how this is 'news' even though it's still not confirmed. I mean, any monkey with a typewriter could have put two and two together in regards to this combination after the laptop annoncement. Especially since iMacs are basically laptops with a bigger screen and hard drive.

It's not necessarily news - being an Apple geek means tossing around crazy rumors, like the next iPod might have more memory or the next Apple computer might be faster than the last one!
