Several sources, including self-professed leaker Jon Prosser, have claimed that there will not be any hardware releases at WWDC this year. With the Apple store still being up as of this writing, it is a fairly safe assumption.

Bummer, latest rumor is no new hardware releases at WWDC. Guess we won't have long to wait to find out. Apple's online store is still up.

As those who followed the Apple WWDC keynote saw, there were no specific hardware unveilings made, just a general announcement that Apple is moving the Mac (over a two-year period) to their new, newly-branded "Apple Silicon".

Well, they did unveil an iPad Pro re-packaged into a Mac Mini development system. It won't be sold to consumers, and it uses the same A12Z Bionic SoC as the current iPad Pro, but supporting a much heftier 16GB RAM (compared to just 6GB in the iPad) and half a TB of flash SSD (plus additional I/O ports; video out included obviously... )

I found it interesting that Tim Cook said there will be new Intel based Macs coming although no time frame was given. And of course, the biggest news of all…macOS BS…, I mean "Big Sur"
