As those who followed the Apple WWDC keynote saw, there were no specific hardware unveilings made, just a general announcement that Apple is moving the Mac (over a two-year period) to their new, newly-branded "Apple Silicon".

Well, they did unveil an iPad Pro re-packaged into a Mac Mini development system. It won't be sold to consumers, and it uses the same A12Z Bionic SoC as the current iPad Pro, but supporting a much heftier 16GB RAM (compared to just 6GB in the iPad) and half a TB of flash SSD (plus additional I/O ports; video out included obviously... :))

I found it interesting that Tim Cook said there will be new Intel based Macs coming although no time frame was given. And of course, the biggest news of all…macOS BS…, I mean "Big Sur" :p
