Ok, I'm lookin to exhaust the heat from the cpu out the back of the case. However, daaaaaang thats a small spot for fans right there! If you got one, you know what I'm talkin bout. What to do? Is there a way to put an 80mm there? Or would I be better off goin w/two 60's? I'm getting ready to order some other fans for the case from 2Cool and would like to get em all at once. Pics if you got em would be [Tiger voice]Grrrrrrrrrreat![/Tiger voice]

Check the link in my sig for pix of my, <muffled sniffling sounds>, old case. I know, it's an Antec KS188, not an AOpen HX08, but I am pretty sure it's the same case with a different front bezel. Maybe others will back me up.

The air exchange from bottom to top in those cases is very poor. So, I cut two holes above the I/O panel with a 59mm hole saw and mounted a couple fans there, it worked great to cool the CPU. Also check out what Ed did to his Antec KS188 at GideonTech.

Make sure you give yourself enough room for the heads of the fan screws to pass by the upper edge of the motherboard tray or you won't be able to tighten them down. Also check out the simple fix to make removal of your side panels easier.

Good luck!

Just checked out your site, and also GideonTech. They look to be about the same size, gonna give the 60's a try. Oh yeah, I had also already taken care of that side panel problem!! Thanks for the reply.
