Ugh, I still can't believe that they tried to replace the tough, versatile, go-anywhere do-anything Toyota truck with this thing.
Although that's still less disgraceful than the Hummer sequels.
While they're all relatively incapable due to their independent front suspension, the H3 at least has a huge amount of ground clearance and enormous tires. It's better in stock form than any Jeep except maybe a Rubicon
Ground clearance on an H3 is exactly the same as the Wrangler. Tires are a wash, as well.
The H2 had a known weakness in Axle shafts since it was based on the surburban platform
The Tie Rod Ends weren't so great, either.
BTW, he is welding it back toegether with a few car batteries
