fyi: Humble Bundle tends to add new titles to the deal towards the end of the promotion.

Get-in while the avg. price is low! :)

Bought this, but can someone share their experience using Origin?

My concern is do I risk losing the software if I wait to get the key, and again if I wait to download the actual software? Could enough people buy the bundle where Origin will refuse to issue new keys to people in says 4 weeks etc.? I don't want to have to download the install files and generate my keys, if it's safe to just wait (like I do with Steam or Amazon when I buy digital download games).

This is an incredible deal. Any one of those games is worth at least as much as the total bundle price. Is this just a huge PR move by EA? Do all publishers donate the proceeds to charity?

In for $20... So being new to the humble bundle, what's the deal with it? The game makers basically give keys to humble bundle in order to raise $ for charity? So i just got all the listed games for $20?? What's the catch?

Yeah, I installed Origin a while back for Crysis 3. It is completely bogged down right now, so most people will have to wait to redeem keys, unlike Steam.

Keep in mind, while you get separate keys for the games, and some have both Origin and Steam keys, some Steam keys will be the same as the Origin key.

This is an incredibly hot deal, though. I suspect DeadSpace 2 (seems obvious with the current games in the bundle) will be a bonus next week (you have to Beat The Average in the first week to get the bonus game(s)), not sure what the other game will be... maybe Crysis 1? We can hope for MoH:Warfighter though.

There is no catch.

Sweet. I guess the catch in this particular offer is Origin... I've been loath to support EA and especially Origin due to their various consumer-unfriendly policies. Does anyone have suggestions on installing Origin with minimal privacy invasion? Last I heard, it has the ability to send EA computer info and browsing habits... is that still the case?

Holy crap

I wonder how many non-origin users are now origin users after this. Smart move EA

Historically the Humble Bundles have been indie games with you being able to split up your money between the devs, charity, and the site as you wish. They've recently had some bundles with non-indie games, but this is the first time they've had this type of turnout from a major developer... AND the very first time (IIRC) that the developer is taking no money, and it's all between charity and the site hosts.

So no, game makers normally don't just donate keys for charity. This is a first

Wow, really quite surprised at EA being generous for once--totally not like them at all. Great bundle, all for charity, what's not to like?

Individual keys, love it.
All to charity, awesome. (Less a tip to the bundle guys).
Did not have most of the games, for once.
Rebate card with odd amount spent down to -0- on the deal.

This is like the deal of the year for this shit.

As for Origin...I like it more than Steam.

I've never done this deal before...all these games for $5 seems like cheating...what am I missing?

Nothing. It's what Humble bundles are known for. Just normally not big devs. Last big dev deal like this was the THQ bundles when they were trying to not go bankrupt.
