New HTPC build please HHHEEELLPP!

Hi all,
I've just built an HTPC here are the specs.
X2 3800+
MSI K8N Neo4/SLI
2x OCZ 512 MB in Dual channel 128 bit config.
EVGA 7800GTX
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500MCE
LITEON DVDRW 1693S
Samsung HD160JJ SATA
Windows XP Media Center service pack 2
I've got the latest BIOS and Drivers for this board/rig. But when I install the PVR drivers the damn thing locks up at the Windows screen at reboot.
Any suggestions on what might be the problem from here?

try different pci slot? different driver? hauppage cards are supported my mce natively

Yup tried all three slots latest drivers from hauppage, windows update. I noticed the problem happens when I use the card if I install and not use it no prob. Then I got a decoder failed error. So now I'm thinking the card may be bad. Oh BTW this is MCE 2005.
