New hoops arrived today!

This front is definitely ready for replacement.

Rear is not nearly as worn but still squared off in the center so away it goes. I need to do some canyon carving before I get rid of it.

Should have put that money towards the new Ducatti! Geez! What are you thinkin'!?!?

I'm thinking it will help with resale value when I sell it in a few weeks and be fun to ride in the meantime.

Took the wheels off this morning and cleaned up the axles, swingarm, forks, etc. Should have it all back together by this afternoon. Sucks because it is going to take the shop all day to change the tires (they are busy and won't get to mine until this afternoon) and it is 80 degrees and sunny here today. :'(

That is a great looking bike. Hopefully all goes well for you.

I am getting a new toy really soon, possibly next week friday, and will post pics.

you saved me from asking that question...

what kind of price are you wanting out of the SV?

$3500

It's a 2008 model with just under 16,000 miles on it. I'm the original owner and it needs NOTHING! The bike is perfect, not a scratch on it anywhere. Bike has been garage kept and never been down.

It has CRG Lanesplitter bar end mirrors, Rizoma LED turn signals (these are expensive and very bright), M4 slipon muffler, fully adjustable rear shock, forks have 15wt oil and Racetech springs and Racetech gold valve emulators, Motosliders frame and swingarm sliders, GSXR 4 piston brake calipers up front, Suburban Machinery Type II handlebar, Pazzo brake and clutch levers. And, of course, brand new Michelin Pilot Power tires. I had the 14,500 mile valve adjustment done about a month ago. All maintenance was performed at the dealer with the exception of an oil change at around 10,000 miles which I did myself.
