New Honda Jet begins testing

Wow i remember when honda came to alliedsignal with this idea of building their own jet.

I just think that it's pretty impressive for a company to be able to do what they have done on their own.

Too small. If you can afford jet fuel, you need waaaay more cabin room. That thing is to a Lear 45 as a Civic is to my van.

Well they had MSU's Raspet Flight Research Laboratory help build the airframe. here

Cool, now google will recognize the N numbers for aircraft and ask if you want to look it up.
N420HA , registered to Honda.

Compared with conventional jets, this experimental aircraft offers superior fuel efficiency and remarkable cabin space
Something that you've come to expect out of Honda for everything they build. 😀

For some reason, I doubt that Gulfstream and Lear are quaking in their boots.

Same words were said when Japan introduced their "econocars" to America.

If you are flying potential clients/customers around, are you going to do it in a Gulfstream or a Flying Econobox?

Who said anything about a flying econobox?

If Honda can build airplanes and/or jet engines and do it better than our guys can, more power to them.

I don't think any of you even know what you're talking about. The article says that it offers superior fuel efficiency and remarkable cabin space. Who are you to say it is too small?

Gotta love how everyone is an expert online.

It's nice to see Honda expanding its research and development for its potential product lineup. Mitsubishi for example, makes a lot of products, not just in the motor diviision.

Now why would they want or need to?
B/C Acura ain't SH!T without a V8
You of all people should know what the Honda V-6s today do put out more horse power than some V-8s of yesteryears. Give it up for technology and efficiency...
