Question new home theatre for pc

I don't see why not unless your MOBO audio output doesn't support 5.1.

I use an Android streamer that connects to an HDMI in and run it back to the projector with HDMI and it works fine. Another setup I used was a Sony 7.1 soundbar + woofer but, that was also HDMI passthrough.

This motherboard is using high-end Chemicon audio capacitors. Channel support is 2/4/5.1/7.1 and S/PDIF Out is supported as well.

I used SPDIF on one setup to test it vs HDMI and it worked fine. There are some posts around the internet though with issues using a PC / SPDIF and getting surround sound working properly. It might not be 100% plug n play but, it should work if you have to mess with it a little bit to get it working properly.

any way i can use hdmi to hdmi ?

You have a HDMI on he MOBO as shown in the photo above. Now, if you have a GPU as well that has an HDMI that's at least 2 ports then. I don't know your total system build but, based on the MOBO alone you have at least HMI and DP ports for video.
