New Hitman Game

Been a big fan of the Hitman series. But what is this episodic release crap? The beta is starting February 12th which you must pre order to gain access.

Also, it seems they are selling the game a few episodes at a time unless you preorder it for $60 now. I'm sure it will be good but with the division coming next month I don't know if I want to buy it right away. Also uncharted in April too.

So I guess there is no disc copy?

hitman was one of those games that was always cool in concept and on paper, but i felt the execution was always lacking and everything about it felt clunky.

I think it was a good series, but the controls were definitely clunky. IMO Splinter Cell was similar in vein and had much tighter controls, so Hitman in comparison always felt a bit off.
 
I'm just going to wait and see what the game has on March 11. I'll be busy with the division anyway. I played absolution and the previous other series on the pc. Controls didn't really bother me.

Absolution actually gave you some cool ways of taking out targets. But it also made it more modernized and easier to follow than the previous games.
