New Hitachi Microdrive won't work on Dell Axim. . .

I broke my old Hitachi Microdrive just yesterday and picked up a new one today.

The old one worked fine as it was just a matter of plug n play.

However when I put the drive into my Axim it says it wont' recognize it, and when I go to file explorer it's not there.

I put the card in my card reader though and it works finely, I formatted it to FAT32 and have been able to put data on there. . .however my Dell won't read it. Any ideas?
