Hi All,
I've just bought and installed a nice new Viewsonic VX2240w monitor which is super. It replaces my older and dieing VP930B.
If possible, I would like to get my hands on a set of electrical drawings for the VP930b as I think I can probably fix it.
Symptoms are a brief flashing of the screen every few seconds on power up and eventual full on that remains good until the unit is shut off or goes into standby.
Originally it only took a few seconds to get full power, then it became a few minutes and finally half an hour before the display would light up and stay on.
I suspect a dry capacitor in the LCD supply but don't have the schematics to trouble shoot it.
If anyone has a link or knows of a source for the technical documents and schematics for the VP930b I would really appreciate hearing from you 🙂
