Hi, my friend is building a computer and refuses to buy online.. So he wants to buy a psu at frys. And the ones I found at frys in the 90-110 range were the following.

what kind of system is he building? That will play a significant role in what he wants to get.

Definitely 400W/500W Liberty. Oh, and your friend's a dumbass for not wanting to buy online. Almost all the time, it's much cheaper.

He doesn't trust online retailers. he isn't much of a computer person, so I insisted on building it or him.

his setup consists of
gigabyte 939amd
2 gigs corsair xms
3200+ 939
deskstar 160g sata

400W liberty, that's a distictly lowish end computer as such the 400W PSU is a massive overkill.

I presume they don't do fortrons at frys? If so the 400W one costs $40 (or it does online) and is very dependable.

Out of your list...The 500watt SilverStone

A very close second would be Enermax.

A distant third would be any Antec.
