New Heavenly Sword Gameplay Videos!

As you know this game is coming out in about a month, 9/12. I played the demo and I think the combat system is deeper than GoW, but too short! The PSN demo has been confirmed at Ninja Theory's forum to be more than a year old. I have mine pre-ordered at familyvideos.com for $45. 😀

the game is looking to be so fun to play, and it was great on the demo. Its great to see a game where button-mashers are rewarded so nicely: with death. 😀 Makes you actually have to get to know the combos well, and use a LOT of strategy as far as which attacks to use when.

wow, so this is basically a game full of the typical asian fight scenarios where a dozen+ enemies will have the hero surrounded only to attack one at a time?

I liked the demo, but it was too short to leave me craving anything...

It's harder than you think 😉

I think he was playing more on the side of it being boring and shallow, not on the difficulty. It just looks too much like Dynasty Warriors for me to get too excited about it. By the time I have a PS3, though, there will be plenty of reviews and it'll probably be cheaper as well.

This game is more GoW like rather than Dynasty Warriors. The parts shown are either on easy or early in the game. The enemies did attack me from all sides when I played the demo.

The enemies do attack from all sides.

Also, it's very different from dynasty warriors (a mindless button mashing fiasco).
