I live in India.

Samson SR850 Rs.2337
Superlux HD681 Rs.2414
Superlux HD668b Rs.3000
Samson RH600 Rs.2191
Samson CH700 Rs.1753

A few hundred rupees here and there doesn't really matter ;)

The Samson's seems to be preferable in terms of avaliablility.. so I would be leaning towards that.

Now, I heard that the Superlux 668b ~ Samson SR850, drivers are same expect the body and plugs...

Is there any reason to get the Superlux HD681 over the Samson SR850?

I will be using the front audio port of my Intel DH67BL (AALC892) 99% of the time.. My PMP is the Sansa Clip Zip.

I listen to deep house.. progressive house.. trance. The lows are pretty important.. High's shouldnt lack as well

Please advise

What others options do you have that work with your budget? The Superlux/Samson headphones generally aren't bad for the price, but you can expect boosted bass and boosted/sharp highs. Common traits for these headphones. They can have good modding potential, though (a guy that often uses the username "solderdude" has posted guides about it online).

In India I can probably get the Senheisser HD202II for 2000 and the HD 419 (senheisser) for 3800..

The Samson is good compared to these two? I dont mind using an equalizer
