New headphones sometimes only half work... ?

I bought this headset about 3 weeks ago, and just the other day while playing CS sound stopped coming out of the right side of the headphones. I was like wtf, and then it came back after awhile. Its starting to happen more often now. Its not just CS excluded either, did I get a bad pair of headphones? Can anyone recommend a good pair? I don't want to go waste another 15 bucks on headphones that will die again, Im kinda mad.

sounds like a messed up cable. hey you can't expect much for 15 dollars. try exchanging for a nondefective one.

Like dethman said it's most likely a loose cable. I suggest you save up and buy yourself a good pair of headphones for $50+. Something like Grado or Sennheiser.

Is it really worth it for 50 bucks?

There are headphones that are a lot more than 50$.

Yes.

yes. Think of it this way, if you keep buying cheap headphones @ 15, the cables will wear out, they will stop producing sound, and you'll need to throw in another 15 bux for a temporary replacement. If you buy quality headgear, you're set for quite a long time and, depending on the phones you buy, you can replace any part that is going bad.

as far as your current pair go, most headphones have warranties...see if you can't cash in on it....it's cheaper than a new set...usually.
