I installed an additional SATA HDD and it was working fine...for a few days.

All of a sudden, my computer begins to crash, and it cannot boot up while I have the new drive plugged in.
WHen I said it cannot boot up...it goes to a screen where it says that a hardware/software change was detected, would you like to boot up in safe mode, last know good configuration, etc. I took it out, and and it boots up no problem.

It gets to the XP boot up screen, but then it cycles back to bios...then it gives me the screen saying asking if I want to boot in safe mode...

Is there a specific reason for this? I have data on the new HDD and I would like to at least have the computer boot up with the 2 drives installed.

The OS is on the the Seagate 160gb.

I have XP
AMD 64 3400 duo
1 GB RAM
MSI neo platinum 4 mobo

Select Seagate in BIOS as a Drive 1, in Boot Priority section, as I said in the PM.
