New HDD, a few questions...

Hey, I have a few noobish questions about installing a new 7200 SATA as an upgrade to my old 5400.

First, here's my computer specs:
My Computer

And here's the hard drive I just purchased:
My New HDD

This is my first time installing a new HDD, and I'm mainly concerned about what my options are for transferring software and OS. Am I able to transfer everything on my current HDD to my new Seagate HDD including my Windows 7 Home Premium that came with the PC I bought? Can I transfer software that had an activation code as long as I still have the disc? (Magix Music Maker 17, and Sony Imagination Studio Suite)? Or will some type of DRM for any of the above prevent me from moving stuff over.

BTW, to be clear, I want to "cut and paste" everything to my new HDD, not "copy and paste" if that makes any difference.

Also, I'm wondering like what type of applications can I run seperate from the HDD that the OS is on? Can I run Fraps on the 5400 while my OS is on the 7200? What about games? My creative software?

What are my striped RAID (0) options? I don't know much about raid and how it works/how to set it up...I just know the basics really. What will happen if I try to install this new HDD and leave the old one as is, but group both together in a RAID? Is that possible? what are the pros and cons of such a setup?

Lastly, as far as the hardware side is concerned, will there be any connectivity/wiring issues based on the link to my computers specs and the new HDD?

Thanks in advance for your help. I know its a lot of question, so I appreciate your help 🙂
