i'm planning on getting another hard drive to backup files on my computer and use it for other stuff too. how can i format it in win2k for NTFS use?
 
Go into Administrative Tools --> Computer Management --> Storage --> Disk Management. Everything you need to do should be there.
 
Run "fdisk" and partition it and then just right click on the new drive, click "format" and pick NTFS for the file system.
