I want to hook up my ps2 and gamecube to my new HD tv- component cables to the way to go? cant seem to find the GC component cables as easy as the ps2...
Anyone do this before and help out?
Any info would be much appreciated.

Looks like Gamecube component cables are discontinued, best bet would probably be through ebay.
 
If you call Nintendo, they will sell you component video cables for a fair price ($40 I believe), much better than what you see on ebay.
 
Also, make sure you have the port on the back of your gamecube for the component cables. unlike the rest of the systems, gamecube used a seperate port for component out. you should have 3 ports on the back ofyour gamecube, power, av and digital.

I got my component cables straight from Nintendo for about $30. They are of very high quality. Be sure to try F Zero GX and Star Fox Adventures once said cables are in hand. 🙂

yeah it does. im awsome at that game. i wish i had an hdtv.

Yes, many gamecubes do not have the port necessary for digital output.
