New HD for Old System

System Mobo: ABIT IC-7 MAX 3

I am currently running an intel 2.4ghz processor oc'd to 3ghz, 2gb of XMS 400 memory and Windows XP. I need to replace my IDE WD1200 120gb HD. I probably will upgrade the processor within the next couple of months.

The mobo supports SATA-1. I would like to improve the time it takes to load Battlefield 2 on this system. I am trying to decide whether I should go with a WD Raptor 150gb, 16mb cache at 10,000 rpm or a newer much larger HD, 32mb cache at 7200 rpm. SATA-1 seems to be the limiting factor. Does a HD w/32mb cache load slower than a Raptor and is there a major difference regarding in game performance? Any recommendations on which HD to go with?
