My bro's PC needs a new hard drive, either sata150 or ide, that has 80g or more. Ive heard good things about thw WD1600JB, here

Does anyone know about the quietness, reliability of this model?

Also, i need help picking a DVD burner on the cheap. It just has to have a black face, anything else I dont really care about, as long as it will last more than a couple of months
 
1) Western Digital are generally considered to be reliable and of good performance. I can say my 2500KS is pretty quiet too.
2) Then just go for any DVD burner with a black front plate, the cheaper the better.
