I just finished a new build and got a nice antec HCG-620. It's providing power just fine but the fan is making a whirring noise that is audible at about 5 feet away. It's not loud but has enough sound to be annoying. I'm thinking I should return it now while I can before I have further problems.

Should I try another HCG620 (may have same problem) or go with something else?

Sounds like maybe a stupid question maybe, but I've done dumber things myself over time.

Nothing hanging down into the fan is there?

I don't think so. The fan is facing the bottom of the case, but I will go look to make sure it isn't hitting the lint screen or anything. I looked but didn't look too hard so I should go double check. I got a good deal on it ($85-20Rebate) so I don't really want to return it if I don't have to.

Update: Took the PSU out of the case and checked for debris or anything that could have been dangling. It was all clear. On the desk you can still hear the fan whirring. It's not too loud, it just has a metal squeaking sound that is unnerving. Maybe best described as a whistling sound.

Update: I sent the antec back and got a seasonic 750 G modular PSU. Much quieter and no squeaking noises!
