New Hardrive incomming

Hey, I have a new S-ATA pc controller thingy comming to make my S-ATA hardrive work :crosses fingers: .

But one thing that scares me a little is setting jumpers and there is no manual included on my S-ATA drive !! 🙁 Only a tiny little note on how to connect it all (not the hard part for me)
I need to set it to slave, but there are 4 places to put the ONE jumper?

Can I mess up my computer, is there a guide somewhere ?

little help, thanks !

The jumper settings are on the hard drive itself, usally right above or below where the jumpers are located.

I can see a little picture there, but there is no text with details on what is slave or master setting.

Well there COULD be details there, but most of the text is in korean, and I really cant read korean.

SATA use point to point connections. From the board to the drive. No slaves or masters with SATA.

wtf you even talking about jumpers for willis?

None of my SATA drives use jumpers, even if there are still pins there where the jumper would have been used..I wouldn't worry about it, shouldn't have to change anything.

Well...why does it have jumpers then? Hmmm... confuseing...(NOT BEING IRONIC) Just want to know.

It has a little picture on it with the jumper placed on the second pin from the right.

special condition, acoustics setting, etc....
for normal operation you dont need to touch it, just plag it in and enjoy.
