New Hard drive

I bought a new Hard drive...and will be installing W7 64 bit. Currently have Vista. Any suggestions as to what should I do prior to the install? i am removing the "old Drives" until I do the install. Then play on moving anything needed back to the new drive, re-formatting them then using them as storage .

Suggestions?
