New guitar- learn new song

I just got a new Martin D-15 (This one) and since I have the day off, I decided to learn a new song. I've always loved "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" off of Led Zeppelin III, so I downloaded the music and got to work. I've got the fingering down, but I still need to work on the strumming and accuracy (it's pretty complicated since it switches between finger picking and using a pick), but here's what I have so far:

Now that I hear it, it needs a lot of work yet...

Keep in mind the following:

1) It was recorded with a crappy PC mic
2) I just learned the song a hour ago
and the third excuse:
3) I'm using medium bronze strings and I usually use light steel

I use a program called "Guitar Pro" and got the tab from Mysongbook.com. It's great program for learning songs fast. Highly recommended.


I'm using an open G tuning, which is low to high: DGDGBD

Oooooooooooo yeah 🙂 Even has that strong "wood" smell. The tone of this thing is so deep and rich, love it!
