So I just spend a big chunk of money on two Tech 21 Power Engine 60s and a Vox Tonelab SE Floorboard. Over all I love them, but I ran across a slight snag.
here is the setup

The tonelab has 2 outputs, R and L/mono. I have a (new) cable running from the each output to each Power Engine. Now... either Power engine connected to the Right output, even at the amp's highest volume lvl(and the pedals' max master lvl) sounds fine. Just a gentle hum. Now, either PE connected to the L/mono output at the same (max lvls) has some... audible crackles and pops. If I turn the lvl down to the 1/2 on the amp, and pedal, it goes away, and that is probably all the volume I need. I'm just torn though. Would you return the pedal if in my shoes? I ordered it from Music123.com, and I'm not relishing sending back a 2 ft long pedalboard.
