New GTS in dec?

I've heard that a new 8800gts is due out in dec. does anyone know of the rumored specs of it? all i've read is that it's supposed to be based on g92 or d8p as they seem to be calling it now. will it be faster than the current gtx?
 
supposedly it will somehow slot in between 8800gt and 8800gtx. Realistically it should meet/beat 8800gtx but we'll have to just wait and see. They should have used 8900gt and 8900gts for these newer cards, the only reason they didn't is that amd is so uncompetitive right now.
