I'm all for it being "more striking in appearance", but as a 4-door sedan? Make it FWD too, why don't you...

Update - some sketches as a fast back coupe

they've already acknowledged it will be based off of the holden....designed and built from the holden plans in the us perhaps?🙂

maybe they should make it least somewhat similar to the GTO if you gonna rape that name. Badge engineering hardly ever works

AGAIN

"designed and built in the U.S"

The PLATFORM is being designed by holden,. but the car is being "designed and built in the U.S"

Zeta platform was already cancelled to concentrate on the new SUVs. www.ls1gto.com and other sites has more info. Basically it's thought it will be made, but there's no real info out there yet for after 2006.

Holden also killed the Monaro to concentrate on the Commodore, so that's also made things kind of hazy.

That looks like ass. I think I'd rather have the Pontiac Monaro the way it is now than that ugly thing.

I'll take any of the current GTO's frankly. I know ppl think they're ugly, but I think they look okay and I'm a big RWD V8 fan, sooooooo 😉

I seriously would consider this for my next car...maybe a 2010 model (I just bought a 2005 truck). Anyway...I hope they don't put 4 doors on it as that would most likely kill any chance of me being interested in it...and it better still have at LEAST the 400 HP it currently has and a nice, racy interior.

Isn't this GTO going to be built off of zeta-lite not zeta? Text
