new gsync monitor, now second screen goes blank if I full screen the main monitor?

And that's not even consistent. Sometimes the second screen comes back if I alt tab a few times, sometimes if I can pan the mouse to the second screen from the first screen without breaking full screen it'll come back. Sometimes I have vlc open on the second monitor and only the video part is black and its impossible o bring it back.
