New Graphics Card

I was wondering if getting a Radeon 5770 or 6670 with GDDR 5 Memory was worth it given my older system with Asus M4A785-M Motherboard. I am not a big gamer so I am looking mainly for quality, video streaming, dvd playback etc. The DDR 3 Cards are considerably cheaper.

I might be wrong, but i wouldn't think you'll see a lot difference in the video quality switching to one of the other cards. And since you're not a big gamer in that regards I'd say no

The main difference is in the deinterlacing quality offered by AMD cards, especially the Radeon HD 6570 and better. If you don't spend a lot of time watching interlaced content then there's no reason to upgrade.
