As of now I am using the integrated GeForce 4, and I just sold my 9800pro...but I am currious how power hungry the new cards are. I figure I can wait till the x800 and 6800 drop down in price a bit...but are they even worth waiting for. I was looking at the ATI AIW 9800 pro to replace my other tv tuner, and open up my 1 PCI slot. What do you think...New generation cards going to run in my setup (listed below)...

I've heard of people using a next gen card (6800GT i think) In a shuttle. Look around in the SFF forum for his post.

I have a 6800 GT running in my SN45G with a 200W PSU. No problems so far.

Does the extra heat of the GT raise the noise level in the case by forcing the Shuttle's fans to run faster?

Lots of votes for the 6800Gt...is it worth it...

What is the main difference between the gt and 6800 not gt version...

6800 non gt only has 12 pipelines and so is slower than the gt version, the actually card though is the same size but only has ddr memory not ddr3.

gt would be a nice card but perhaps ur better of going for a x800 pro which would fit in nice and snug in a shuttle case and has similar performance. even the x800xt pe would go into a shuttle nice and its currently the fastest card out in most games, excluding doom 3.
