My new grado sr-80s came in as some of you know. They sound great but the new earpads with the whole in them hurt my ears after a while. Any ideas on what I can do so I can wear them for prolonged periods?

does prying off the sr-80 thing void my warranty?

i actually got the upgrade from the 60s after warranty..the cord was acting funny and causing audio in only 1 ear sometimes until i jiggled it into a certain position

Bend the headband to loosen the fit a little. My SR-125s are extremely comfortable.
