Will mainly be playing BF3, Starcraft 2, Guild Wars 2. Not planning on doing any form of compute. Don't really care about PhysiX either.

VI. Do you plan on overclocking the card you intend to purchase?
Will push to whatever is stable at default voltages

Additional Notes
Looking for something that will last at least 2 generations

Your budget is less. You need a 7950 minimum and a new psu since 650 watts was borderline and now your psu is already 5 years old and hence degraded. You will need to oc past 1100+ MHz. Get a 1080p monitor.

Go for the AMD 7950 or 7970 due to the 3GB VRAM. Battlefield 3 already eats up at least 1.8GB of VRAM on 64 player large maps at 2560x1440 resolutions. Future games may surpass 2GB of VRAM.
