New GPU - motherboard splash screen no longer appears?

Hey guys, I recently upgraded from a 6850 to a 7950 and now when I start my PC up, the ASRock splash screen with the fancy graphics doesnt show up anymore.

Why would that be?

Odd that it would change on its own, but enter the BIOS and look for a setting like "Full Screen Logo" and set it to enabled/on.
 
look for a setting in your bios called something like "full screen logo" enabled/disabled
or "logo on boot"
 
@ futurefields: Does the ASrock board have a UEFI bios? Some newer video cards have a UEFI-compatible firmware, which can interact differently at boot-up than older video cards.
