New gpu, computer shuts down while idle

I just installed a new Sapphire 7950 card, and now whenever I leave my computer idle for too long it shuts off. The computer will not start again unless I reset the switch on my power supply. On booting up, it shows that Windows had been shut off abnormally.

There is absolutely no problem when I'm using the pc. Yesterday, I played Battlefield 3, Skyrim and Sleeping Dogs throughout the day and not only did the temperature not go above 55C, but I didn't experience a single crash either.
