New Google desktop search

I have installed the new Google Beta local search tool, I like getting Google style results from local searches,I just hope it doesn't spy or cause system instability.
Any thoughts appreciated.

I doubt it's going to report any statistics back to google. If you're worried about that, just setup a software firewall and block all programs from sending info unless you say so. Personally, I have no reason to get it because I know where I keep everything.
