Hi All
Ok, I've built many systems before so I am not a total newb, however, sometimes I do come across a problem that is rather different.
So yesterday I started building my new system, going from the AGP world to the PCI-Eworld.
Here is what I purchased:
GIGABYTE NF4 GA-K8N PRO-SLI mobo
MSI 7800gtx
multi card reader with A: drive
Enermax 535W P/S
So here is what I have seen so far,
1) mobo will not keep the bios settings I have to sometimes re-enter HDD size, however,
a bios update will probably fix that.
2) when I put in my WinXP disk and boot from the cd to format my C: it sees my C: drive
as an F: drive. I even tried to format it and it wouldn't let me. I have tried many times
but with no success, does anyone have any ideas that might help this old fart out?
[ Also,on a side-note I even booted from the A: drive to try to format the C: drive but it doesn't see it either plus, I can actually go into WIndows and everything is just fine.]
Thanks anyway for looking,
Regards,
CA
