My system currently has a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256mb PCI video card that I use to power a 19" Viewsonic at 1600x1200.
However, I bought a larger LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1900x1200. The FX5500 cannot support this so purchased a Biostar AGP Gforce 6800 series card with 256mb. However, I get nothing with this card. I'm worried that the card is not compatible with my mother board.
Is there some jumper setting I need to do with the mother board? Leadtek K7NCR18D Pro II. I have noticed that The MB AGP says it 32 bit, while the Video card I mentions 128bit processing. Is this the problem? I'm not sure if they are talking about the same process.
If the 6800 VC will not work in my system, any suggestions on an 256mb nVidia AGP card that will work for my purposes?
