New Generations of Video Cards

As you guys know this generation of video cards (nVidia 6 series) and the ATI are not old but getting older. Would you go ahead and buy a new system with an x800XL or would you wait for the new generation to be released? When do you think we can expect the new generation to be released?

Also would you wait for Dual core processors from AMD or do you think they will be over priced? Do you think the Dual core Intels are worth there price tag if I am planning on gaming?

I'm buying the X800XL now, but I got a pretty good deal on it. Im building now rather than waiting, tired of web cafes for my game fix

it really depends on how much you want to spend. you could get an x800xl, and when the new cards come out, and they are at an exceptable price, sell your 800xl, and buy one. intel is definately not the way to go for a gaming computer. the amd dual cores will completely waste them.
