Tried em, were not stable for me.. Had games crash (Mafia2 and BFBC2), PC freeze, and windows telling me a display adapter driver has failed and restarted.

For those who don't use Nvidia drivers or would rather not go through the hassle of downloading them and installing. <_<

according to a certain report, the 259.47 driver, dated August 21, lists, in the supported card section, more than just the GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9,100, 200, 300 and the known 400 cards.

Apparently, the new driver will work with GeForce GTS 450/455 video boards, GT 440/430/420 models and a whole slew of GT 400M series.

The one card from the list that has been detailed by previous rumors is the GTS 450 and will supposedly have 1GB GDDR5, an interface of 128 bits, 192 CUDA cores and clocks of 783 MHz for the GPU and 3,608 MHz for the memory.

Still, the list includes many names besides just this one and goes as follows.

NVIDIA_DEV.0E23.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GTS 455)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DC4.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DC5.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DC0.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 440)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DE1.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 430)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DE2.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 420)

NVIDIA_DEV.0E30.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470M

NVIDIA_DEV.0DD1.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DD2.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 445M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DD3.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 435M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DF2.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 435M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DF0.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DF3.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DF1.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M)

NVIDIA_DEV.0DEE.01 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 415M)

You sure seem to post a lot in your own threads.

but these low end cards better to better than SB (ati 5450?) otherwise they are useless and a waste.

SB very likely won't even be available by the time these cards hit. Besides, Intel's finally including more than decent IGP performance with their next gen doesn't do squat for those countless poor SOBs still using their piss poor integrated graphics of years past.

What? No 5** series cards? I think it might be about time for JHH to sell another bunch of his stock, while he can still cash in a bit. :D
